CASE STUDY: Fixing More Than Just Cameras in OC
The Request:
A homeowner contacted me to install 3 Ring security cameras around their property.
The Discovery:
Upon arrival, I diagnosed a critically weak Wi-Fi signal. Installing cameras on a poor network would cause constant disconnects and buffering. I discovered pre-existing Ethernet lines hidden in the walls that were improperly terminated and unused.
The Technical Solution:
Network Overhaul: Traced, tested, and re-terminated the home's existing cat6 Ethernet wall jacks.
Pro-Grade Mesh Setup: Installed a premium Mesh Wi-Fi system, linking both floors using a wired Ethernet backhaul. This unlocked maximum gigabit speeds with zero dead zones.
Camera Deployment: Secured and calibrated the 3 Ring cameras onto a rock-solid, high-speed network.
